On March 25th, 2026, the NCIA team visited Psaltry International Company Limited, where they were received by the processing and farm teams, as well as the Chief Executive Officer, Oluyemisi Iranloye, to gain insight into its operations across both factory and farm.

During the visit, the team toured the processing facilities and farm operations, observing plant configuration, production systems, and the scale of integrated processing. Particular attention was given to the company’s sorbitol production, a cassava-derived sweetener produced through the hydrogenation, refining, and concentration of glucose.

Discussions focused on the company’s expansion plans and the operational requirements for efficient processing, including the importance of reliable cassava supply to sustain plant performance.
The engagement highlighted the scale of Psaltry’s infrastructure, sustainability initiatives such as solar energy and farmer support programmes, and the company’s growing recognition within Nigeria’s cassava processing sector, including recent coverage by how we made it in Africa.
