NCIA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), a Federal Government agency established to provide sustainable funding for Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
The agreement outlines a framework for voluntary collaboration between both parties to accelerate investment in cassava industrialisation.
Under the MoU, NCIA and NADF will work together to share technical expertise, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and support ecosystem development across the cassava value chain. The partnership will also promote knowledge exchange and networking among processors, financiers, and agribusiness actors.
This collaboration aligns with NCIA’s mission to drive inclusive industrialisation and investment-led growth in the cassava sector, and NADF’s mandate to scale productivity and agro-industrial development nationwide.
While the MoU is non-binding, it demonstrates the shared commitment of both organisations to unlock opportunities and strengthen Nigeria’s cassava industry through strategic cooperation.
